Qi Gong has a thousand year old tradition and is an essential part of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Qi Gong is one of the five most famous Chinese healing methods and is considered by the TCM not only as an active form of treatment and as a self-healing method, but also as the subject of life science.
One’s own physical and mental activity fundamentally helps to improve one’s health and to prevent and heal diseases. This medical effect is gradually recognized by modern scientists and physicians.

Qi Gong is a combination of inner concentration, calm and deep breathing and flowing movements. To understand Qi Gong, the harmonious union of these three components is required. Moreover, the regular and relaxed exercise plays an important role in experiencing the Qi feeling.

Through Qi Gong we can control our energy flow and activate the meridian system and thus maintain, strengthen or heal tissue and internal organs.
At the beginning, the development of the body awareness is in the focus, while in the advanced stage it is the resting cerebrum. This rest is very similar to the state of sleeping, however during Qi Gong the metabolism is maintained, allowing the cure of diseases.
This kind of general life care can have preventive and healing effects, for example with heart and lung diseases, rheumatism, asthma, body aches, back, hip and knee problems, cancer, various chronic diseases and mental health problems. Additionally it is strengthening the immune system overall.
